Pawdayo Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Pawdayo (“the app”, “we”) helps you look after your pets. This policy explains what information the app uses and why. Contact: pawdayo.app@gmail.com
Information kept on your phone
Everything you enter, including pet profiles, health records, reminders, feeding, expenses, food details and breeding and litter records, is stored only on your phone. We do not have accounts and we do not receive or store this information on our servers. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
Location
If you allow it, the app uses your location to find dog walks, dog parks, dog-friendly pubs, cafés, places to stay, vets and pet shops near you. Your approximate position (rounded to about 100 metres) is sent to Geoapify, a place-search service, and if that is unavailable to public OpenStreetMap search servers, to look up nearby places. It is not stored by us or used for anything else. Geoapify’s privacy policy: https://www.geoapify.com/privacy-policy. You can turn location access off at any time in your phone’s settings.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your phone. No reminder information leaves your device.
Adverts (Free plan)
Free users see adverts provided by Google AdMob. Google may use your device’s advertising identifier and similar information to show and measure adverts. In the UK and EEA you are asked for consent before personalised adverts are shown, and you can change your choice later. Premium subscribers see no adverts. Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Subscriptions (Premium)
Payments are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app ID and your purchase details (product, purchase date, renewal and expiry). RevenueCat’s privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Puppy records and sharing
PDF puppy records are created on your phone. They are only sent to someone if you choose to share them.
Links to other websites
Links to food suppliers, venues and other websites open outside the app. Those websites have their own privacy policies.
Children
Pawdayo is not aimed at children under 13.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what information we hold about you and ask for it to be deleted. Because your pet data stays on your phone, you control it directly. For anything else, email pawdayo.app@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
